En 1979 la familia de su t\u00edo, compuesta por su t\u00eda y primos, tuvo que mudarse a Ituzaing\u00f3 por problemas personales. A partir de ah\u00ed Jos\u00e9 Daniel Cardozo empez\u00f3 a tener una rutina m\u00e1s familiera y gener\u00f3 un v\u00ednculo muy especial con su t\u00eda Daniela; \u00e9l era su favorito, su \u201cpopochito&#8221; como lo llamaba ella. \u00c9l, por su parte, la amaba.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Era todo felicidad; a Jos\u00e9 le encantaba pasar el tiempo en casa de sus primos. Iban a La Gaona, plaza de Ituzaing\u00f3 y jugaban carreras, merendaban y disfrutaban de la infancia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A medida que Jos\u00e9 creci\u00f3, entendi\u00f3 que no todo ser\u00eda color de rosas. Sus padres no le permit\u00edan hacer muchas cosas solo y lo acompa\u00f1aban a todos lados. La confidente de este malestar era su t\u00eda, quien siempre cumpli\u00f3 un rol de refugio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Fue al colegio Manuel Belgrano y no lleg\u00f3 a tener novia, aunque tampoco le importaba. Le gustaba cocinar y uno de sus hobbies era hacer churros con Daniela. Era un chico sano y comprometido.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La obligaci\u00f3n de ir a la Guerra de Malvinas sorprendi\u00f3 a Jos\u00e9 y a todos sus seres queridos. Jos\u00e9 Daniel Cardozo iba arriba del Crucero General Belgrano aquel 2 de mayo cuando fue atacado por un submarino at\u00f3mico ingl\u00e9s.
